CAVE DRAGON

"These armored, wingless drakes dwell in the deep underground where they constantly hunt and devour just about anything they find. When not hunting, they usually find a deep, dark, cramped place and hibernate, so of the total population in an area, usually only about half are actually active at any given time. This is fortunate, since only a few cave dragons can decimate an area and pose a serious threat to any nearby settlements."
