JABBERWOCK
"In my book, the old jabberwock is as mean as they come. It has a beak that can snap right through a cyclop's thigh bone, and it has claws like razored steel. Jabbers aren't like normal predators. They hunt whether they're hungry or not and have been known to even turn on each other when prey is scarce. Some say they're leftovers from some mad wizard's attempt to combine the swiftness of an eagle with the strength of a lion. If that's the case, then he did a good job of it. The bloodthirsty things are as plentiful in the wild as any other large carnivore these days. My advice if you see one? Make sure you have lots of friends, lots of weapons, and a whole lot of guts. Or else make sure that if you can't outrun the jabber, you can at least outrun the guy next to you."
