THOUGHT REAPER

"The thought reaper is a bizarre abomination which prefers the cool, moist depths of underground caves and tombs. These creatures are considered to be carnivorous, although they never devour the flesh of their prey, subsisting entirely on raw brain matter. Some sages have suggested that it is perhaps not the actual tissue the thought reapers desire but the residual energy that tends to reside in mammalian brains. Considering the usual mass of a typical reaper, these creatures obviously could not support themselves on a meager diet of brains alone."
