The forces of Ganedan fight bravely against evil, but they themselves are not entirely untainted. One such individual is Draega. A former King of Larocia during the Age of Strife, Draega was a ruthless tyrant. His plague spread far and wide as he and his armies pillaged the lands of Ganedan. Eventually, his armies met defeat. Before Draega could be captured he disappeared. Some say he lives on.
DRAKE
The
drake dragon is one of the few true dragons
remaining in Ganedan. When these creatures
glide overhead, even the most dangerous of
beasts takes notice. With steel-hard scales
and a thick hide, the drake is nearly impossible
to wound, while its sharp claws and teeth
make it extremely dangerous on the attack.
If that weren't enough, the drake can breathe
a column of flame at its enemies, decimating
entire groups at a time. Fortunately, they
are rare and tend to prefer secluded mountaintops
away from civilized lands. A wise adventurer
would do well to avoid a drake's territory.
GARGOYLE
The stony gargoyle keeps watch from atop a high castle wall. With sharp eyes and near-limitless patience, it makes the perfect guardian. Often intermixed with regular, gargoyle-like statues, these creatures will remain motionless yet alert for extended periods. Intruders often have little to no warning before a group of gargoyles descends upon them from above and gargoyles have been known to wait until such trespassers are at their most vulnerable before attacking.
